Faliraki Beaches

Anthony Quinn Bay

Just after Faliraki is the bay that bears the name of the American actor and as soon as you see it you will understand why he fell in love with this place when he was in Rhodes in 1961 for the filming of the movie “The Cannons of Navarone”. The blue-green waters and rock formations that surround the beach create an enchanting landscape, which now attracts a lot of people. The beach is organized with umbrellas, deckchairs and a beach bar, and if you find yourself here in August, it is advisable to come early in the morning.

Kallithea Springs

Don’t miss the chance to see the Kallithea springs, this architectural masterpiece built by the Italians in the late 1920s. The springs are not accessible but through pebbled floors and fountains you will reach the small beach. Nearby there are many rocks with umbrellas and sunbeds and from there you can dive into the deep blue waters.
